The dyke and beyond...

It's FINALLY getting warmer here (although the wind is still ccccold) and last week I got out for 2 good walks on the dyke in Port Williams - I have a client who quite often takes her standard poodle for a walk from Port Williams to Wolfville and then her husband picks her up in Wolfville. I haven't done that whole walk yet but I have done a good portion of it...unbelievably I have only ever seen 2 other people each time I have gone...dog owners here are far more courteous here than they are at home - the laws are the same - dogs have to be leashed at all times and there are very few off leash options here (but then again out this way most people have large yards which make off leash parks kind of unnecessary) anyhoo on the dyke dogs are off leash but when owners see other walkers they immediately leash their dogs! I call and let them know they don't have to but in most cases they are wearing earbuds and can't hear me.

L and I were in Kentville on Thursday - she got her Moderna vaccination in Wolfville then went to Kentville to kill time before my shot - and while we were killing time before my Pfizer vaccination in New Minas we stopped at a park which has a walking trail that goes in both East and West for a long, long way...very cool.

It surprises me that even 19 degrees feels cold here when the wind blows...I kind of hope that this is the case once we move...
